These two birds were inspired by bird illustrations in the Book of Kells. They are worked on 16 count Aida with one strand of silk.
The kits contain Pearsall's 'Filoselle' pure silk embroidery thread and fabric needed for sewing the design, plus instructions. Fractionals and back stitch are included in the design. Some experience of working cross stitch would be an advantage.
The kits cost £12.50 each.
N.B.Unlike most of my other designs, these kits cannot be obtained directly from 2 Fishes Designs. The kits are prepared by Pearsall's Embroidery who supply them direct. Contact details for Pearsall's can be found at the bottom of this page.
